Use cases
There are two main use cases for Envato Elements: if you are a professional designer, or if you run a small business. Professional designers can tap into Envato’s huge collection of vectors, images and audio files on a monthly basis without having to go through any paperwork. Instead, they simply need to put in their credit card information and pay when they use something on a project (or once every six months). It gives them more flexibility compared with our previous Pay-As-You-Go system.
Small businesses can also benefit from using Envato Elements. They often have tight budgets and little time to spare and it may be difficult for them to get approval from senior management or finance teams for expenses related to stock photography or audio files.
Plans and pricing
You can buy a subscription either monthly or annually, for $10 or $99 respectively. There's also a free 30-day trial that lets you use any assets as many times as you like during that period. For agencies and other businesses who expect to use hundreds of items over a short period of time, it might be worth paying for an annual subscription.
However, if you only need one item from our library once in a while then there's no point in buying a subscription on an ongoing basis. By using the trial option instead, you can save cash and still only pay for what you need. The Envato Elements library is massive – if you just have five minutes each week to search through it, then sooner or later something will come up!
